Boxing Day (Dec. 26)
beach and enjoying a couple of amusement parks. It was a wonderful week
and I think all of us had a great time. We arrived home on Saturday and
then enjoyed a wonderful Christmas here in Alice Springs.
I only have a few minutes before Delenn wakes up and so even though we
have a month's worth of pictures to post and other stories to tell, I
only have time to post a few pictures of today's adventures. With Daddy
back at work (sniff, sniff, sniff) the three of us set out for some
hiking. We just had to take advantage of the gorgeous 80 degree weather
(unseasonably cool for this time of year!). We went to Simpson's Gap
Park and did the Cassia Hill walk. It is a 1.5km (1 mile) hike total.
While I was prepared to carry Delenn most of the way in the sling, she
blew my socks off by walking most of the way to the top of the hill
(until I insisted I carry her up most of the steps) and then she walked
the ENTIRE WAY back! Every step down she'd say "jump" and leap off. As
she got more comfortable she wanted to let go of my hand, but I wasn't
ready for a trip to the hospital today so kept a firm grip til we got to
flat ground.
Needless-to-say, Delenn is sleeping soundly now so I'll post a couple
pictures from our little hike.
