Pushing buttons
Mommy went out for post-birthday coffee and treats with her friends, so
Daddy stayed home and put Logan to bed. Night time and time for
brushing teeth, Logan was spotted doing funny things while looking at
himself in the full length bathroom mirror. For bedtime stories, one of
his favorites at the moment is a book that contains a puppy dog
operating a different mobile vehicle of some sort, such as a police car,
truck, airplane, boat, submarine, and wagon. There are also buttons
that can be pushed to hear the vehicle's sound effects. Logan is
getting really good at identifying and pushing the right buttons and
doing so after Daddy or Mommy say "Push the police car button."
Lately Logan has been hard to get down for bed, and we think it is
because he has become scared of the dark. Several times now Daddy has
had to calm Logan down by holding him in his arms and sing some songs
before he will calm down and allow himself to go back down to the crib.
This does not take generally more than 5 minutes, but has happened 3-4
times in the past couple weeks.
