Toddler Activity (Elora's 15 months)

I read on someone's Montessori blog that the
normal shape sorter which introduces several
shapes at once is often too difficult for the young
child. They suggest introducing one shape at a
time. For this activity I simply took a box, cut
a square in it for the block and a little door to
get the blocks out. She seemed to really enjoy
it and could do it independently, unlike the
3-shape sorter we have. She played with this for
quite some time (for her!).
