Science Experiments: 3) Bubble Bomb

Our next experiment was called the "Bubble Bomb." It's a
twist on the ole vinegar and baking soda combination. You
place vinegar in a plastic bag and put baking soda on a
paper towel. You don't combine the two until after you've
sealed the bag. Then you drop the paper towel packet
into the vinegar, wait a few moments and -- KAA BOOM!

We talked about acids and bases, but the real excitement
was with the "explosion"!
