Bikes -n- Books

Just a few days ago, Logan showed interest in riding his tricycle for
the first time. Up until now, he had been using a three wheeled bike
that he pushed along with his feet. Early this morning Logan wanted to
ride his bike again. We bundled up (it was around 55degreesF) and
headed down the sidewalk. Mommy kept asking Logan if he wanted to turn
around, but he insisted he wanted to keep going. Logan's now got the
hang of pedaling. He road his bike a total of about four blocks! Mommy
was very impressed and proud of him since yesterday he had only ridden
down the driveway to the neighbor's driveway and back (a total of
perhaps one block).

We also stopped by the library today after his morning with Kimberly (at
Rosalie's). He enjoyed picking out books and kept asking for a "scary"
book. This was the first time he's really shown expressed interest in
choosing his own books. It looks like regular trips to the library are
in order! Meanwhile Delenn is paying a bit more attention to books and
especially likes the touchy-feely ones. Her favorite (the one she'll
look at the longest) is a book Auntie Wendy had gotten for Logan about a
little chick (who squeaks when you tickle her fuzzy tummy).
